Hi, I was born and raised in NC but have been living in Malvern for the last 17 years. I have three children, a daughter in 5th grade here at CT, a 9th grader and an 11th grader at GVHS. Our family has been a part of the Charlestown community since 2018 where I was treasurer of our PTO from 2018-2020. Since then I have volunteered at the middle school with the Directory for two years, the team manager for my sons travel hockey team, the HS PTO as the treasurer for the last two years, and most recently the treasurer of the GV crew team for the 2022-2023 season.

This is my second year on the PTO Board as the 1st VP of Charlestown. I look forward to having greater involvement in school-wide inititiaves that impact our children's education and school experience. My husband and I moved to Malvern in 2013. We have a son and a daughter (going into 2nd and 4th grade, respectively) and spend most of our time outside of school particpating in various sports, music lessons and traveling. Professionally, I work full-time as a Key Account Manager for Sartorius in the biotechnology industry. I have also been serving on the Board for my neighborhood Home Owner's Association for the past 9 years.

Hi, my name is Brenna Wimmer. Two of my three sons are at Charlestown this year-in 1st and 3rd grades. I also have a 6th grader at GVMS. I’m currently a stay at home mom, but previously taught 4th and 5th grades for nine years. I’ve been around CT for a few years now, in PKC and lead parent roles and am excited to be more closely connected with the school through PTO.

Brian has a son in first grade in Charlestown Elementary in the 2023/24 school year.    Brian is excited to be involved with the PTO and the school community. Brian's background in technology and finance will help him be successful as the PTO Treasurer. 

We have lived in Malvern for 9 years and have Collette (5th) and Connor (3rd) at Charlestown Elementary. Before being a stay home mom, I was public accountant for around 10 years on audit and financial advisory service. Besides routine activities and busy school schedule, our family enjoys travels very much and loves exploring new adventures.

I am excited to work closely for our community and be part of the PTO board to help school and families connect and most importantly our students to grow.

I joined the PTO as Assistant Treasurer in 2022/23, and am excited to transition to the Corresponding Secretary role for 2023/24. I currently work as a Document Editor for an Engineering Group in Exton, and have past experience in Marketing Communications. I have a son going into 2nd grade next year, and we love being a part of the amazing Charlestown Elementary Community!

This is my family's third year as a Charlestown Family. My son is in 6th grade and my daughter is in 3rd  grade. I work full-time in the financial services industry. I'm happy to support our lovely school community as recording secretary.

Karen managed regulatory compliance for a large private equity fund for 14 years before moving to Charlestown with her family in 2019. She has two children - a daughter in 1st and a son in 5th grade. She is one of the administrators of the Charlestown Township, PA Community Facebook group and is an active volunteer with several community organizations. Karen is looking forward to making sure our wonderful CT family is aware of all events and volunteer opportunities through the PTO's social media channels!
