I'm the son of two educators, the husband to Courtney, and the father of two daughters. We have been living in Malvern since 2021, and we will be joined the Charlestown Elementary School Community this year. Our youngest will be entered Kindergarten, and our oldest entered 3rd Grade - they are both very excited for this new adventure! I've served the community on the East Whiteland Historical Commission, as the majority inspector of elections for East Whiteland Precinct 2, and most recently as a VP on the K.D. Markley Elementary School PTO. As an architect licensed in Pennsylvania, I focused my efforts on the building and grounds at KDM, and I look forward to continuing to work to improve the facilities and enhance the resources available to all Charlestown Elementary School Students during my tenure. My name is Tamanna (Tammy), I have a kindergartner and a second grader at Charlestown. We love this school and the community it has given us, I am looking forward to contributing and taking on this legacy. We love to travel and explore world as a family. On professional front, I work for Johnson & Johnson as an Associate Director supporting Oncology business.

Hi, I’m Kelly Welsh. We moved to the Malvern/Phoenixville area 11 years ago. We currently have one son at Charlestown in 3rd grade and one son in 5th grade at the new 5/6 center. We also have a 4 year old daughter - a future bulldog who is currently in preschool. I have been a physical therapist for 18 years. I currently work per diem in pediatrics and also enjoy teaching as a lab assistant in a PT program at a university. Most of my days are busy with many of our childrens’ sports and activities. I’m hoping to become more involved in our Charlestown school community as it continues to grow and thrive.

Having moved into the area a few years ago, I am fortunate that my two sons (now entering 3rd and 5th grade) have benefited from our wonderful school and community. As an attorney and Army veteran with experience in treasury functions and finance, I am excited to be involved in the PTO and help our children and school.

Ashlee is a proud mom of a second grader at Charlestown for the 2024/25 school year. She has experience volunteering on her HOA board, as a 1st grade lead parent, and is involved in various community groups. Ashlee works as a physician and clinical informaticist and is excited to bring her data skills to the PTO as the assistant treasurer. She's eager to contribute to the school community and make a positive impact.

My name is Rebecca Kurth and I’m mom to Jamie (5y) and Sawyer (3y) and wife to Jason Kurth. We’ve been in Malvern in Charlestown Meadows since 2017 and Jamie is our first child to head off to school this fall. I work part time as a nurse at Paoli Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit and am excited to use my time around that to jump in wherever needed through the PTO. I look forward to meeting everyone!

Hello! My family moved to Malvern in 2018. We have one son currently in second grade and another entering kindergarten in the fall. We also have a younger son who will be at Charlestown in a few years. I was a lead parent this year for my son's second grade classroom and I very much enjoyed being involved with the events! My professional background is in the fields of landscape architecture, planning and teaching courses in architecture and site design.

Karen managed regulatory compliance for a large private equity fund for 14 years before moving to Charlestown with her family in 2019. She has two children - a daughter in 2nd and a son in 6th grade. She is one of the administrators of the Charlestown Township, PA Community Facebook group and is an active volunteer with several community organizations. Karen is looking forward to making sure our wonderful CT family is aware of all events and volunteer opportunities through the PTO's social media channels!
